  6. Bartholomew (Bartolomeu) - Bartholomew was also known as Nathaniel. He was an honest and straightforward person who was skeptical at first, but became a follower of Jesus.
  7. Matthew (Mateus) - Matthew was a tax collector before he met Jesus. He left his job to follow Jesus and became one of his closest followers.
  8. Thomas (Tomé) - Thomas was known for his doubt and skepticism. He famously said he wouldn't believe Jesus had risen from the dead unless he could see and touch the wounds in his hands and side.
  9. James, son of Alphaeus (Tiago, filho de Alfeu) - James (the son of Alphaeus) was a lesser-known apostle. Not much is known about his life, but he played an important role in spreading Jesus' message.
  10. Thaddaeus (Tadeu) - Thaddaeus was also known as Judas (not the one who betrayed Jesus). He was a faithful follower of Jesus and played an important role in spreading his message.
  11. Simon the Zealot (Simão, o Zelota) - Simon was a political activist before he met Jesus. He became a follower of Jesus and used his passion and energy to spread his message.
  12. Judas Iscariot (Judas Iscariotes) - Judas was the most infamous of the apostles. He betrayed Jesus for money, leading to his arrest and crucifixion.

            Despite their differences, the 12 Apostles worked together to spread the message of Jesus and build the early church.
